Therefore, the heat treatment of forging waste heat is the most widely used in the world. The types are as follows:
Forging waste heat quenching: after forging, the forging is directly quenched in the quenching medium to obtain the quenching structure, so as to replace the original reheating quenching process.
Forging waste heat annealing: forging after forging slow cooling to replace the original reheating annealing.
Forging heat normalizing: air cooling after forging to replace the original reheating normalizing.
Forging waste heat isothermal normalizing: forging after forging rapidly cooled to the isothermal temperature after heat preservation, instead of Dongxin heating isothermal normalizing.
After forging, the forgings are directly sent to the homogenization heat treatment furnace, which is still carried out according to the conventional forging heat treatment process. After the forging is homogenized, the temperatures of the forgings during quenching, normalizing isothermal normalizing are consistent. This method is called residual heat homogenization heat treatment. This process can ensure the quality of heat treatment of forgings with complex shape, especially large cross-section change.
The results show that the grain size of the forging is coarser than that of the conventional heat treatment process, such as forging waste heat quenching, forging waste heat homogenizing quenching, forging waste heat normalizing forging waste heat isothermal normalizing. In order to refine the grain size, the forging can be cooled to 600 ~ 650 ℃, then heated to the temperature required for quenching (normalizing), which can refine the grain size reduce the energy consumption of heating the forging room temperature to 600 ~ 650 ℃, which is generally used for forgings with high grain size.
